Remember Jackie, my confident neighbor kitty who moved in last Fall? She comes to our yard every day for sunshine, bird watching, and attention. Mom & Dad give her lots of petting and she’s so trusting that Mom can even pet her nose and tummy.
If you watch the video until the end (or fast forward), you can see Jackie is making biscuits.
Sorry, this isn’t the best video in the world. Mom was sitting on the driveway holding the camera in her left hand. Mom was petting Jackie for at least 5 minutes before thinking, “Let’s share a video! It will be a more uplifting blog post than Black Betta at the Rainbow Brook.” Jackie’s tail is a bit twitchy, but that’s because our peaceful petting was interrupted by a barking Sheltie walking by.
Mom thinks Jackie is a special kitty and is always honored that she allows tummy pets.
It is nice to have good neighbors who love animals. I wish we did! Hugs.
I wish that were because you don’t have neighbors but I suspect that’s not the case. 🙁
Jackie sure is friendly and is enjoying those pets.

I let people pet my tummy too. Sometimes I will even roll over for them when I’m doing therapy cat visits. I hear this is pretty special… Binga’s tummy is a danger zone!
We can see how much Jackie is loving the attention and superb scritches and belly rubs 🙂

I had to laugh about the “barking Sheltie”…………..oh we TOTALLY get it!! (wink!!!) Jackie is a cutie, she is trusting like Cody. Cody loves his belly rubbed too. I think Jackie wants to be a permanent part of your furmily!!
Is there any other type of Sheltie than one who barks? 😉 She has been in our garage a lot, and even ventured into the house once when I didn’t close the door all the way. She’d also be happy at our other neighbor’s who gives her as much petting as we do.
We think she has it made! She is awfully pretty.

TW wishes she could pet me like that. She can only touch me when I’m sleeping soundly.
Raven allows some gentle tummy petting. But I am always amazed that Jacki lets me pet her tummy.
